for Bio-inspired Intelligent Systems

RESEARCH INTEREST

We seek to understand the unique electronic properties of nanoscale materials and harness them to develop memory and processing devices for a new computing paradigm inspired by the biological nervous system and human intelligence. By integrating silicon with other emerging compound materials, we aim to emulate neuronal dynamics that operate in fundamentally different ways from conventional computers. At the system level, our hardware platforms will demonstrate the learning capability and energy efficiency characteristic of human intelligence, enabling a wide range of applications, including bio-integrated electronics and autonomous systems.
